About Decision Street

Decision Street uses industrial strength decision science and easy to use internet technologies to help you make important (and not so important) decisions.

With deep roots in the math, science, and psychology of decision-making , our understanding of what it takes to make tough decisions has been honed over the years in both academic and corporate applications. Now we want to put these dynamic methods in your hands.

Historically, big decisions benefited from the advice of family, a trusted friend or neighbor, or even a local professional. As friends and families spread over the map, people turned to the phone to gather opinions and find agreement on what to do.

Today, more and more of us head to the internet for basic information, second and ninth opinions, options, treatments, and products. And in the process, we've become overwhelmed.

Take a walk down Decision Street

We're not trying to build something cool, just something incredibly useful. We're combining powerful decision math and science with activities you already understand like . . .

. . . to create the online equivalent of the kitchen table, the front stoop, the local library, your favorite aunt who seems to always know everything, and "Main Street" (back when that meant easy access to all the goods and services you needed) all rolled into one easy-to-use online service. As we launch, not all that functionality is available, but it's coming soon.

Decision Street is headquartered in Mt. View, California (Silicon Valley for those who can't quite place the town) with outposts in Seattle and Kentucky. We're pushing to make our service broadly available by June of 2007. For more on that, keep checking our blog.
